as Medicine
The International Association for Cannabis as Medicine (IACM) is
a scientific society advocating the improvement of the legal situation
for the use of the hemp plant (Cannabis sativa L.) and its pharmacologically
most important active compounds, the cannabinoids, for therapeutic
applications through promotion of research and dissemination of

Medical
Cannabis in the Netherlands
A change of the Dutch law on controlled substances (Opium
Act) took effect on 17 March 2003. It includes regulations for applications
regarding the cultivation of cannabis for medicinal purposes and
guidelines for cultivating cannabis. The laws and regulations relating
